The Membership Project. |
|
It is clear that retaining and increasing membership is absolutely vital
to the future of our synagogue. With this in mind, we are urging
congregants to forward their ideas and volunteer their time for specific
initiatives, rather than having meetings of an ongoing
Membership/Outreach Committee. Current ideas include: distributing
flyers, participating in street fairs, serving wine and hors d'oeuvres
before Friday night services, a Bingo night, a Family Game Night, a
Superbowl party, showing movies, starting a Boy Scout or Girl Scout
troop, and even discussing torah. We need your help for these fun and
hopefully productive projects and and we thank you in advance for all
your efforts. |

Spring is Coming |
Soon you'll be sorting through your closets and shelves to prepare for
the new season.
While you're at it, please keep in mind that raffle prizes are needed
for our annual Journal Dinner to be held this June.
Those unneeded hostess gifts, that impulse item that you now realize
you'll never use, the "mistakes" we all make and stash away, they might
well become someone else's bonanza.
Please bring your hidden treasures to the temple office, earmarked,
"Journal Dinner"
And we thank you for your time and effort. |
