As we approach the summer your Brotherhood affiliate has many people to thank for a very enjoyable temple year. Thank you: Myron Klein and Sam Silverman for the many things you do to keep Brotherhood running smoothly; Gene Guskin for his wonderful writing and great sense of humor; to Manny Arnowitz for keeping the
minutes and reminding us what took place at the previous meeting; to Harold Gleiberman for never forgetting anyone’s birthday; to all the men of PTBAS who joined Brotherhood and participated in all our meetings and events; to the Women of PTBAS for their support and attendance, without you there is no Brotherhood; to Cantor Bernstein for your advice and participation; to Angel and Sondra for all the effort you made to help us out; and to Lillian Schwartz for her wonderful effort to advertise our events and putting up with my column in the Voice each month. If I left anyone out, believe me you are greatly appreciated.

I hope those who attended our joint Brotherhood and Women of PTBAS event on Sunday, May 7, had a good time. Thank you, Sam Silverman and Pam Glantzman, for providing our delicious breakfast. I think we all enjoyed looking back at the history of the Subway Series in NY and the memories shared by our members were just fantastic.

Sunday, June 11, at 9:30 AM: Brotherhood meeting to finalize plans for the Brotherhood Picnic and the future events.
Sunday, June 11, at 10:15 AM: Brotherhood invites everyone to listen to Mr. Naftuli Moster of Yaffed who will speak on improving the education curriculum in Hassidic Schools in New York City.
Come early to enjoy a breakfast sponsored by Brotherhood.
Sunday, June 25, 11:00 AM to dusk: Brotherhood Outdoor Picnic at Floyd Bennett Field. We would appreciate it if you can let us know in advance that you are coming to the picnic (so that we can plan for how much food will be needed) by mailing or bringing to temple a $5.00 check payable to Brotherhood of PTBAS. The cost will be $8.00 the day of the picnic.
Sunday, August 6, 4:00 PM: Brooklyn Cyclones Baseball at Coney Island. Please see Myron Klein for tickets ASAP. They are going fast!
Sunday, September 10, 9:30 AM: Breakfast for all Brotherhood Members or Prospective Members at the Mirage Diner. This will be our first meeting after the summer. We did not forget.
Congratulations to Pam and Lillian for being the honorees at the June 4th Journal Luncheon.
Have a wonderful Father's Day and a happy and especially healthy summer.
